Selection of the Sterilization Environment for Sterile Homogenizer

The sterilization mixer is mainly used for the analysis of food microorganisms, homogenization treatment of animal tissues, biological samples, cosmetics; microbe analysis of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, biscuits, etc. The sterile homogenizer effectively separates the uniformly mixed microbes contained in solid samples, surfaces and ensures that all samples are mixed in sterile bags. The processed sample solution can be directly sampled and analyzed without the risk of sample changes and cross contamination.


Choosing the Environment for Disinfecting the Sterile Homogenizer


In what environment should the instruments of the sterile homogenizer  be disinfected?


During the microbial analysis of food samples, to ensure the disinfection effect and avoid the instrument being exposed to bacteria after disinfection, the instruments of the commercial homogenizer must be disinfected in a sterile environment, which can be selected in a super clean workbench or a sterile laboratory, which may reduce the contact with bacteria after disinfection to the lowest level.


How to determine the disinfection time of the sterile homogenizer ?


After numerous experiments, it can be concluded that the disinfection time of the general sterile homogenizer is five minutes. If the disinfection time is lower than this time, the disinfection effect is not good. If it exceeds this time, the sterile homogenizer will cause resource waste.


Can the sample be directly placed in the sterile homogenizer  during the experiment?


The answer to this question is obviously no. The correct operation is to put the food that needs to be processed into the sterile homogenization bag before putting it into the sterile homogenizer, and then the sterile food sample bags are discarded after use.


Maintenance of the sterile homogenizer  in daily life


  • The power plug must be inserted firmly into place. If it becomes loose, the computer controller may freeze the sterile homogenizer . If there is a crash phenomenon, please turn off the power switch on the back, shut down for 3 minutes and restart.


  • When working with the hammer plate, please do not open the homogenizer door to avoid sample liquid overflowing. Press the start/stop button, and the device will automatically stop running. After closing the door, press the start/stop button again, and the device will automatically complete the remaining work.


  • When the instrument is not used for a long time, the power supply should be cut off and the plug should be removed.


  • The bottom of the door of the commercial homogenizer  is designed to be empty to prevent homogenizing bags from rupturing and facilitate the cleaning of spilled materials. Therefore, when the instrument is running, do not reach into the bottom with your hand to avoid straining your fingers.


  • Before the machine runs, check for foreign objects in the homogenization box to avoid failures and damage to the homogenization bag during operation.


  • Hard, bony and ice-like substances should not be used to prevent damage to the homogenization bag.


  • The storage of the instrument and homogenization bags of the sterile homogenizer  should avoid direct sunlight, especially the homogenization bags should be stored in a place without sunlight or avoiding ultraviolet radiation to avoid aging.


  • When there is a need to increase speed with little amount of sample, the fibrous and tough homogenized material can be adjusted by the rear knob to hit the plate and the visual window to achieve better homogenization effect.
